Landscape Revival
DIAMOND HEAD, OAHU
This Diamond Head Road resident requested a landscape restoration. Armed with old photos and hand drawings the couple asked Mulkern to get this landscape back to it’s 1950’s self with a few modern twists.
Services provided include landscape design, project management, installation, maintenance, irrigation, and low voltage landscape lighting.
Unique Landscapes
WILHEMINA RISE, OAHU
This residential project located in Oahu’s Wilhelmina Rise district at the edge of a cliff. Mulkern strategically developed this vertical hillside property into usable space for the homeowner with vibrant, low water plants over a decade. The highest standards of safety were adhered to at every level of the project.
Services to the homeowner included design, project management, installation, maintenance, boulder removal, hillside stabilization and more.
Native Hawaiian Plants
St. Louis Heights, OAHU
A residential project located in Oahu’s Saint Louis Heights district minutes from the University of Hawaii. The homeowner requested an updated landscape design that mixed Native Hawaiian and low maintenance plant choices. Maintenance service continues to this day.

Going Back to Green
KAHALA, OAHU
This beautiful home minutes from the beach in Kahala once had a backyard concreted over by a previous owner. The new homeowner wanted more green so as part of the new landscape design and installation the Mulkern crew ripped out the concrete and installed a new lawn.
Services included landscape design, installation, maintenance, lighting and irrigation.
